The Perfect Nude Lip

A nude lip is a staple lip all year round but when it comes to autumn I tend to go for a slightly darker, more dusty pink lip and this one from L’Oreal Paris is perfect. It has a deeper undertone than most pinky nudes I own so it looks more autumnal, whereas I feel that lots of other pink lipsticks are more suitable for spring/summer. The formula of this lipstick is very silky and wearable and combined with the lip liner will last you all day.

How I Make My Skin Feel (Soap &) Glorious

First of all, can we just appreciate that pun in the post title? Soap & Glory product names are more than often puns or a play on words so I thought I’d channel that idea and create my own, so there you go.

My skin has been very tired and dehydrated recently, so when I saw that this face mask was perfect for dull and lacklustre skin I was very excited. It was just what I needed to get my skin back on track.

How To Have A Relaxing Night In

For all of you who are still at school or college, it’s currently half term (a much needed half term in my opinion!), and even if you’re not, it’s the perfect time to spend some time relaxing. It’s getting to that time in the year where everything is getting darker and all we really want to do is snuggle up in a blanket and go to sleep, so I thought I’d share my current pamper night routine.

To set the mood I light a candle, my current favourite is this one from Champneys as it smells so heavenly, and it relaxes me straight away.

I also have the Champneys hand cream, which smells just as lovely, to soothe and nourish me when I need to relax.

Another necessity for a relaxing night in is a face mask, there’ll be a review of these coming to my blog very soon, and I go for the ever amazing Soap And Glory.

Like many people who suffer, or have suffered with acne in the past, I immediately presumed that I had oily skin as my skin used to be so greasy and aggravated. Red lipstick will always look pretty and classy and as we begin to transition into autumn, where darker lips are all the rage, a red lipstick is a good thing to include in your daily makeup routine.

For me, my favourite red lipstick is Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in shade 13. It has a blue undertone which suits my complexion, compared to lots of other red lipsticks which have a more orange tone. It also goes on incredibly smoothly and stays put all day. I love it!
