Freddy is one of my biggest style icons and so I thought I’d wrap up my collection of posts based on her as my style inspiration with an outfit inspired by her pretty, girly style. I headed down to London, where Freddy takes most of her blog photos, to really get the Freddy vibe going and trotted round the capital in this beautiful outfit, which was pink and white of course.
I admit that I haven’t perfected the art of taking a flatlay, like a lot of things to do with blogging and the photography that comes with it, I’m still learning. However I have collected together a few tips and tricks to boost up your flatlay game and show off your products in the best way possible.
In the morning before school it can often be a rush and things like doing your hair are obviously not going to be top of the list of things to do for most people. I know the struggle of looking in the mirror debating whether to use your precious couple of minutes making your hair look presentable or actually packing your bag for school. As a self confessed nerd I always tend to make sure I’m ready for school (I’m such a baby I just really don’t want to get into trouble…), but unfortunately that means my hair usually ends up looking like a scarecrow. So, learning from my mistakes, I have collected my top quick, simple and pretty hairstyles to make your morning routine a lot easier.
I did my last ‘what’s trending right now’ post on the colour yellow but there’s another colour which is equally as in style – red. Classic, pretty and awfully sexy, red never truly goes out of style. When going on holiday you don’t want to be lugging giant perfume bottles around. Firstly, there’s the risk of the glass bottles cracking whilst you’re travelling (which is always going to be devastating isn’t it?) and they also take up precious space in your case. Continue reading
Up until earlier this year I wasn’t dressing in a way that presented me, my new outlook or my style at all. I have always been interested in fashion but I let the opinions of others affect my style choices instead of going with what I wanted to wear. So, today I’m going to walk you through why I think it’s important to find your signature style. Continue reading
Ahh, the dreaded, scary colour that is yellow. I don’t know if I’d ever be able to carry it off without looking like a bumblebee but I know lots of people who can wear it all year round and look stunning. Whilst out shopping yesterday I noticed there seemed to be yellow everywhere – my sister even picked up a yellow bodysuit! This trend doesn’t seem to be stopping going into autumn/winter as I even saw yellow coats so I thought I’d make a ‘what’s trending right now’ post centred around it. As always, click on the images to shop!
This mustard yellow coat is very eye catching and is a very bold way to incorporate the new trend into your wardrobe. This would look stunning layered over a multitude of winter jumpers and great with denim, a very beautiful statement yellow piece for sure. This was actually the piece I saw which inspired this post!
