Pearls are everywhere this season – on the heels of shoes, embroidered across jumpers and all over bags to name just a few! A detail which used to be regarded as old fashioned has completely and utterly come back into style and I’m really happy about it. I wear pearl earrings almost everyday and I think they’re a timeless and classy style to incorporate into your wardrobe. All these pieces are shoppable just click on the links to take you to the product!
I’m currently in my final year of sixth form (the last year of schooling in Britain) and of course the work is tough. I do subjects that require an awful lot of work, especially textiles which is mainly coursework based, and I often receive the question, ‘how do you fit your blog in?!’.
This post is the 101st post on my blog and wow those posts have just flown by. It seems like just yesterday that I was starting out, setting up my website and shooting my first lookbook; yet here I am almost six months on and the world of blogging is only just opening up to me.
Blogging has opened up a whole new side of me that I didn’t even know existed. I’m passionate, committed and a lot more confident than I’ve ever been and it’s all because of this website. I have people at school that never would have spoken to me before coming up to me and starting conversations about my blog or YouTube channel, I’ve spent many hours interacting with my close friends and family as they help me shoot looks and I’ve become a lot more active online. Blogging has opened my eyes to an alternative career and made me appreciate beauty and style through lots of other bloggers. I’m finally able to act on my passion for fashion (don’t want to sound too much like a Bratz doll…) and express myself for others to see.
I love each and every one of my followers and supporters with all of my heart. This blog and everything that comes with it means the world to me and I can’t wait to bring you even more exciting content in the future!

Autumn is the perfect time for strolling through the park, admiring the gorgeous trees turning from vibrant green into hues of red and gold. I’ve always loved walking in my local park but it’s even better come autumn time as it feels even more beautiful than usual.
As my boyfriend Tom and I set out for relaxed Sunday stroll through the park I channelled the colours of autumn into my outfit and donned my new wine coloured cord skirt. I mentioned that I was searching for a cord skirt in my October Wishlist and I managed to find one in Primark. Unfortunately Primark don’t have an online shop but I’ve found alternatives here and here.
I paired this gorgeous (and very, very comfortable) skirt with a wine coloured floral top with a black cami top underneath. The top was also from Primark but I’ve found an alternative here.
I finished off the look with a camel coloured tailored coat, a necessity for autumn, and black chelsea boots, which I basically live in at this time of year. They’re so versatile and practical I believe that everyone should have a pair!
This was a stylish, yet practical, outfit for my autumnal park adventure and I can’t wait to spend another day exploring the acres of beauty in my local park.

Today I’m here to speak up about brand snobbery. This is a topic I actually feel very passionate about as I think I encounter it quite a lot, not only in life, but within the blogging community. It seems that if you don’t regularly shop at Topshop and River Island then you might as well not have a blog, when in reality they’re out of a lot of people’s budgets, even if they’re technically ‘high street prices’.
I love beige. Like I love it. It’s such a versatile colour which is perfect for autumn when we turn more towards warmer tones such as brown, beige and red. Somehow, beige has become to be portrayed as a boring colour which washes people out and looks bland but I definitely beg to differ. I think it is a very classy, dignified colour which looks great when it’s worn right.
My new favourite fashion obsession (which I haven’t actually managed to get my hands on yet…) is corduroy. If you’re up to date with my blog and have read my October Wishlist then you’ll know that I’m on the look for lots of cord pieces for this autumn season. Corduroy is bang on trend at the minute and I’ve seen it popping up all over the place, I think it’s definitely a trend to keep your eye on.
