As you can probably tell from the fashion I often feature on my blog I’m not one to dress very dark or garish, so when it comes to Halloween you’re never going to find me dressed up as a witch. For Halloween this year I decided to channel vibes from one of my biggest fashion inspirations, Coco Chanel, and be terribly classy.
…when you’re broke and can’t hire a photographer. That was the full intended title for this post anyway, but I thought that might be a tad too long. In this post I’m going to be talking about what life is really like for a small scale blogger when I can’t just splash the cash and immediately follow every trend or hire a professional photographer to take my outfit photos.
I don’t know about you, but when it comes to autumn I seem to wear nothing but ankle boots on my feet. Whether that’s Chelsea boots or heeled ankle boots, they’re a simple yet incredibly stylish way to add an autumnal twist to an outfit. I thought I’d share the cutest boots I’ve spotted online so that you can incorporate this adorable style into your wardrobe.
Today was like something straight out of a fairy tale with an amazing Beauty and the Beast themed afternoon tea spent with my mom, aunties and cousin. We travelled to Coventry to an incredibly aesthetically pleasing place called Fargo Village where there were photo opportunities at every turn.
It was a beautiful day today and me and my darling Tom spent the glorious sunshine having a picnic in the park. The only thing better than jam sandwiches and Skittles is a pretty new outfit which, of course, is a complete bargain! Full of autumnal colours and colourful stripes this is a great, comfortable outfit which I can see becoming a go-to outfit.
For all of you who are still at school or college, it’s currently half term (a much needed half term in my opinion!), and even if you’re not, it’s the perfect time to spend some time relaxing. It’s getting to that time in the year where everything is getting darker and all we really want to do is snuggle up in a blanket and go to sleep, so I thought I’d share my current pamper night routine.
To set the mood I light a candle, my current favourite is this one from Champneys as it smells so heavenly, and it relaxes me straight away.
I also have the Champneys hand cream, which smells just as lovely, to soothe and nourish me when I need to relax.
Another necessity for a relaxing night in is a face mask, there’ll be a review of these coming to my blog very soon, and I go for the ever amazing Soap And Glory.
how do yoy have a relaxing night? Tell me in the comments below!
Love Chloe x

You might have noticed that I’ve been a little MIA the past week, in fact this post was supposed to be up last Monday, but unfortunately I’ve been pretty ill and I haven’t been able to post – sorry guys! It’s half term now though and I’m a lot more chilled out so hopefully I’ll be back to posting everyday.
This post is about what I wore to my friend Rí’s 18th birthday party. She held an amazing birthday party in her house (with lots of fabulously aesthetic fairy lights) and I had a wonderful night. Happy birthday Rí!
