Pearls are everywhere this season – on the heels of shoes, embroidered across jumpers and all over bags to name just a few! A detail which used to be regarded as old fashioned has completely and utterly come back into style and I’m really happy about it. I wear pearl earrings almost everyday and I think they’re a timeless and classy style to incorporate into your wardrobe. All these pieces are shoppable just click on the links to take you to the product!

Outfit Plans For Autumn

As we transition into autumn it is a perfect time to mix up your wardrobe and add some new pieces. I have made a video on my outfit plans for autumn which will be going live this evening but I thought I’d create a blog post to go alongside it with some shoppable versions of the outfits I refer to.

Victoriana Style

I, for one, love the Victoriana style, particularly for blouses and dresses as it’s such a classic, vintage and pretty look. It ties into my style really well as it’s very girly and I think it’s going to be a big trend this autumn/winter. As always, click on the links to shop the items which I think capture this trend the best!

Me In Red.jpg

I did my last ‘what’s trending right now’ post on the colour yellow but there’s another colour which is equally as in style – red. Classic, pretty and awfully sexy, red never truly goes out of style. I’ve collected my favourite red pieces I’ve seen online and in store and there is also a new addition to my posts – different pieces I’d style them up with. Click on the links to shop!

Picnic Lookbook

Picnics are an integral part of the summer as it gives you a chance to have lunch sat outside surrounded by the beauty of nature. It’s such a simplistic, adorable experience and it’s fun to gather your friends around and socialise whilst spending some time in the great outdoors. Continue reading

Outfit Diary – Coleshill Carnival

When visiting my friends today we decided to head down and look at Coleshill Carnival, which we presumed would be a collection of cake sales and ‘hook-a-duck’ stalls, but we were met with big fairground rides and enough candyfloss to feed a small army!

I dressed rather casually for today’s day out with a simple denim skirt and light pink t-shirt with lace details. A denim skirt is an essential for anybody’s wardrobe as it is really easy to pair with any top and create an instant outfit. This one from H&M has a lovely button up detail which is bang on trend, they come a little big so I’d size down if you’re looking to buy one. This top, also from H&M, adds a pretty edge to the outfit.

With so many beautiful backdrops and colours this was a blogger’s paradise and I was channelling major Grease vibes when singing ‘You’re The One That I Want’ around the fun house. I’d forgotten how much fun a simple fairground was and it was an amazing day with even more amazing friends.

You can also shop my friend’s looks below! (Thanks to all of them for agreeing to this and also having amazing style of course).

Outfit Diary – Lunch Date With My Boyfriend

Whilst round my boyfriend’s house this weekend his mom treated us all to a delicious lunch at the darling little Window Box Café, the perfect place to visit for everyone who loves healthy, nutritious food. Also it’s possibly one of the most aesthetic cafés I’ve ever visited, which is always a bonus!

I had some jam sandwiches (okay, yes I know I said healthy food but this is me we’re talking about!), sweet potato and beetroot crisps, a salad pot and water distilled with lemon and mint. I couldn’t get enough. My body felt so energised and clean after the meal I couldn’t believe it. There’s quite a limited menu but that’s because all of their delicious food is homemade and carefully crafted.

As I wasn’t planning to shoot photos for a blog post today I wasn’t wearing current clothes but I thought I’d share it with you anyway as I still think it looks very chic and pretty. I will include links to alternatives I have found in shops so that you can recreate the outfit.

I wore this simple, white lacy dress (alternatives here and here) as it looks so clean and pretty, to match my pink brogues I put a pink, waterfall cardigan on top (alternatives here and here). This is great for cooler summer days as it is light while still keeping you warm. My infamous pink brogues made a reappearance, I swear these are part of 90% of my everyday looks (alternatives here). A new addition to my wardrobe was the pink neck tie I’m wearing here, I got inspired by Freddy Cousin-Brown, who in turn got inspired by old Hollywood starlets who used to wear these all the time. I love the classy vibe it creates and I’m definitely going to invest in more; this one from New Look can be found here.
