Sorry for the lack of blog post yesterday – I was absolutely exhausted and couldn’t muster up enough energy to write a post and to be honest with you, my eyes are closing typing this. I thought I’d update you on what I was wearing at my 18th birthday party which happened on Saturday 23rd September.
I wore this gorgeous dress from Chi Chi London, which I got through ASOS, and I’m head over heels in love with it. It has delicate lace sleeves (which don’t pop up on to your shoulders!), sheer neckline and a beautiful full lace skirt. I felt like a princess!
I paired this dress with my classic white block heels from Boohoo and a few special pieces of jewellery that I got for my birthday. My Pandora rose gold heart clasp charm bracelet, rose gold tiara princess ring and rose gold bow ring. They added the final touches to a very pretty, fancy outfit.
I’d just like to say thank you to everyone who came to my party who made it a great success and for everyone online who wished me a happy birthday, it’s much appreciated. Now, once I’ve recovered from all the partying I’ll be getting back into the swing of things with my blogging.

It was my friend Eden’s birthday party last night (this is going up as an early birthday post so make sure you comment happy birthday to her below!) and we decided to dress up very pretty and celebrate in style. Continue reading
When visiting my friends today we decided to head down and look at Coleshill Carnival, which we presumed would be a collection of cake sales and ‘hook-a-duck’ stalls, but we were met with big fairground rides and enough candyfloss to feed a small army!
I dressed rather casually for today’s day out with a simple denim skirt and light pink t-shirt with lace details. A denim skirt is an essential for anybody’s wardrobe as it is really easy to pair with any top and create an instant outfit. This one from H&M has a lovely button up detail which is bang on trend, they come a little big so I’d size down if you’re looking to buy one. This top, also from H&M, adds a pretty edge to the outfit.
With so many beautiful backdrops and colours this was a blogger’s paradise and I was channelling major Grease vibes when singing ‘You’re The One That I Want’ around the fun house. I’d forgotten how much fun a simple fairground was and it was an amazing day with even more amazing friends.
You can also shop my friend’s looks below! (Thanks to all of them for agreeing to this and also having amazing style of course).

Whilst round my boyfriend’s house this weekend his mom treated us all to a delicious lunch at the darling little Window Box Café, the perfect place to visit for everyone who loves healthy, nutritious food. Also it’s possibly one of the most aesthetic cafés I’ve ever visited, which is always a bonus!
I had some jam sandwiches (okay, yes I know I said healthy food but this is me we’re talking about!), sweet potato and beetroot crisps, a salad pot and water distilled with lemon and mint. I couldn’t get enough. My body felt so energised and clean after the meal I couldn’t believe it. There’s quite a limited menu but that’s because all of their delicious food is homemade and carefully crafted.
As I wasn’t planning to shoot photos for a blog post today I wasn’t wearing current clothes but I thought I’d share it with you anyway as I still think it looks very chic and pretty. I will include links to alternatives I have found in shops so that you can recreate the outfit.
I wore this simple, white lacy dress (alternatives here and here) as it looks so clean and pretty, to match my pink brogues I put a pink, waterfall cardigan on top (alternatives here and here). This is great for cooler summer days as it is light while still keeping you warm. My infamous pink brogues made a reappearance, I swear these are part of 90% of my everyday looks (alternatives here). A new addition to my wardrobe was the pink neck tie I’m wearing here, I got inspired by Freddy Cousin-Brown, who in turn got inspired by old Hollywood starlets who used to wear these all the time. I love the classy vibe it creates and I’m definitely going to invest in more; this one from New Look can be found here.

To celebrate the last day of school my friends and I went out for a meal together and I wore this super chic, summery outfit. I paired this black and white striped boob tube with these gorgeous high waisted shorts from ASOS. I fell in love with these shorts when I saw them on ASOS because they look so vintage and classy, it’s hard to find shorts that aren’t denim yet still look young and girly but these are perfect.
I’ve been searching for so long for my perfect pair of white heels and these are absolutely beautiful. I love the little detail on the back of the shoe, it adds such a pretty extra touch. They’re also a really wearable height whilst also being high enough to dress up, the perfect mix!
After enjoying a delicious burger at the Harvester I decided to take on one of their insane Freak Shakes. I chose the Sweet Shop one with bubblegum ice cream, cream, candyfloss, skittles and two lollipops aka sugar overload. It was so sweet I could barely finish it but it was definitely worth it! I’d definitely recommend popping down to your local Harvester and trying one.

As most of you probably know I have a sister called Sophie who has actually literally just turned 15; this is going up as a birthday post for her so it would be lovely if you could wish her a happy birthday in the comments!
She looked gorgeous at her birthday party on Saturday wearing this urban chic style outfit complete with a pink crushed velvet crop top, embroidered jeans and some low block pink heels which you might recognise, as she actually borrowed them off me (perks of having a sister who’s a fashion blogger!).
This pretty crushed velvet crop top from H&M is perfect for the summer weather we’ve been having as it’s light and breathable. Crushed velvet and velour (which is very similar) has been all over the shops recently so it’s bang on trend, plus, as I’m sure you’ve guessed, I love the baby pink colour!
Just like Sophie I’ve fallen head over heels for these jeans; even though they’re not strictly my style the ornate embroidery and perfectly placed rips make my heart go all funny. They look so high end and you probably won’t believe me when I say that Sophie actually found these in Primark. Yes, you heard me right, Primark. Can you believe it!? These jeans are stunning and they really complete the outfit.
I’m sure you’ll agree with me that Sophie looks absolutely stunning. All that’s really left to say is happy birthday Lil Bit!

It was my friend Giulia’s birthday party, as well as her leaving party, this weekend so we all gathered in her house for a night of dancing, celebrating and, in my case, taking aesthetic blog photos under the tree in her garden. Who could resist those gorgeous fairy lights?
This beautiful backless dress is from Boohoo; it’s very comfortable and movable whilst looking super pretty and classy. One word of warning though – it’s rather see through so make sure you invest in a backless bra to stop any inappropriate flashing!
I was getting compliments on my shoes all night and I think everyone was shocked to discover that these fluffy heels are actually from Primark. They look so high end!
I’d just like to write a little message for Giulia she’s been one of the greatest friends I’ve ever had and I’m going to miss her so much, last night was amazing and a fabulous farewell. Can’t wait to party again in September for my 18th! Ti voglio bene.
