A Terribly Classy Halloween

Processed with VSCO with m5 preset

As you can probably tell from the fashion I often feature on my blog I’m not one to dress very dark or garish, so when it comes to Halloween you’re never going to find me dressed up as a witch. For Halloween this year I decided to channel vibes from one of my biggest fashion inspirations, Coco Chanel, and be terribly classy.

Designer Shoes Wishlist

Designer shoes are a real treat for most people and throughout my life I hope to treat myself to these beauties. In my opinion these are the prettiest designer shoes out there which if I had millions of pounds I’d be snapping up in a instant.

Chanel shoes are a must have on any designer shoe wishlist as they’re all so beautiful and classy. I actually have a dupe of these shoes (here) because they’re such a lovely style but I wish I could own the real thing! These pink and white ones are stunning and would fit my wardrobe perfectly.

Chloe shoes are so beautiful and these Mike Pumps are no exception. The fact that they’re pink and decorated with bows makes them even better! If I could find a dupe for these I’d buy them in a heartbeat.

These Michael Kors Carey boots are so smart and beautiful for autumn/winter, I’m in love. Heeled ankle boots are so gorgeous and can be paired with so many things that having these in my wardrobe would be perfect.

That makes up my top three designer shoes which I’d be spending the money on if I had the chance. What’s your dream designer shoe? Tell me in the comments below!

Chanel On A Budget

Coco Chanel has always been one of my biggest style icons, ever since I researched her timeless fashion aged 8 for a primary school project. Since then my love for her classy style has grown and grown and I really admire her work in freeing women from the confines of pre WWI fashion.

Unfortunately, as an average teenage girl, I cannot afford any actual Chanel products. That’s where the idea to take Chanel’s iconic style and recreate it on a budget began, for those fashionistas working with small amounts of money, do not fear, you too can have access to Chanel’s gorgeous fashion sense.

It would make sense, when recreating such well known fashion, to turn to dupes. My favourite dupe website has to be SheIn.com, it’s great not only for affordable dupes of high end fashion but also for original pieces.

This gorgeous tweed dress with pussybow detail is clearly Chanel inspired from the simplistic black and white colour scheme to the use of tweed which Chanel used for her iconic Chanel Suit. The mini dress length represents how Chanel liberated women from the excesses of ballgowns and it creates a chic look.

I paired the dress with these Chanel inspired shoes; the black toe cap takes inspiration from Chanel’s collection and classic style. These are an easily wearable height and the ankle strap means that you can tighten them to fit your feet comfortably.

There will be a YouTube video up on this look later today and if you’re reading this when it’s already up I’ll insert a link here.

The Chanel Shoes That Broke The Internet

Chanel Dupes

I don’t know about you but I’ve seen those Topshop Chanel dupes everywhere (just in case you haven’t I mean these ones). They’re classic, pretty and all round amazing but for someone shopping on a budget paying £39 for a pair of shoes kind of breaks my heart (I’m sorry I’m always a cheapskate deep down!).

Designer Handbag Wishlist

So, as you can see, this isn’t a wishlist of the month, this is a general wishlist all about designer handbags, because who doesn’t have a secret designer shopping list in their head? Designer handbags are renowned for their quality, establishment in the fashion world and their ability to be timelessly stylish. Unfortunately, they’re also about a million pounds out of my price range which makes actually purchasing one near impossible but a girl can dream. I’ve compiled a list of my top designer handbags that, hopefully far off in my dream world where I’m living in Paris and able to emmerse myself in fashion for a living, will be in my wardrobe.

No designer handbag wishlist would be complete without the classic Chanel bag. The timeless black quilted design and gold chain handle will be in style forever and the bag is just so effortlessly chic that I can’t help but pine for it.

Price: £3840-£4830

This take on the classic Chanel bag comes with the Spring/Summer 2017 collection. Everything about this bag is perfect from the beige, pink colour to the ornate Chanel clasp, the light colour would suit my wardrobe more than the classic black Chanel bag. Help, I think I’ve fallen in love!

Price: £3990

This gorgeous Burberry reversible tote bag is so beautiful, especially in this elderberry colour, but it’s also extremely practical as it has no pockets so it’s great for lots of storage; the perfect shopping bag!

Price: £775

The Michael Kors Mercer Large Leather Tote bag is beautiful and spacious. It comes in a variety of colours but this light brown, acorn colour is probably my favourite. I feel like this colour would work perfectly in the Autumn time but the bag design is so simple yet amazing that it would work all year round.

Price: £315

No designer handbag wishlist would be complete without the Chloé Drew bag. I just couldn’t choose between these two beautiful colours. The peachy nude colour would fit in more with my wardrobe but I couldn’t help but fall in love with the gorgeous peacock blue.

Price: £1140

That concludes my very concise designer handbag wishlist. I’m sure there are many, many more beautiful bags I’d love to own but these are my ultimate favourites, they’re all beautiful beyond compare and I dream of the day I may own even just one of them.
